Interesting Game concept! I really liked that you gave the player multiple options for what they could do and upgrade. The music was also fantastic and fit the theme well. It would be cool if there was a way to avoid the enemies, maybe keys to move your diver at back/forth angles as he goes down. But overall, it was a nice game! I am also in the One Game a Month #55 Jam. I made a 10-Level pong game with powerups and music I made myself on a keyboard. If you get a chance, you can check it out and leave some feedback. I am interested to see what players think of the different paddles and special attacks and how well they are weighted. Also, if anyone gets to the Elder, tell me! None of my testers that I know have beaten him yet!

Heyy our teams ended up making somewhat similar games! Really liked this one!

It's annoying to have to wait as you climb up several kilometers towards the end.
